Hello, I’m Nicholle Miller, a counsellor with experience working with people who face a variety of challenges in life, including trauma, chronic pain, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, depression, and problems in relationships and families. I became a counsellor as I grew up experiencing child abuse and neglect resulting in CPTSD and chronic pain and illness diagnoses. I know firsthand how counselling and the work done between sessions can empower someone to break free from the surviving mechanisms that allowed them to move through the trauma but are now preventing them from creating the life they want.

My approach draws from cognitive-behavioural therapy, humanistic client-centered therapy, solution- focused therapy, and mindfulness practices that incorporate somatic components to address trauma stored in the body. These various modalities enable me to customize our sessions so that I can best support each client.

I am passionate about representative care, and as someone who is neurodivergent, my goal is to create a safe space where clients can find their strengths and foster resilience. Together, we will navigate life’s complexities, uncovering strategies and tools to foster healing, inner peace, personal growth, and the ability to thrive and lead fulfilling lives.

Areas of Specialty: self-esteem • anger management • grief • trauma • chronic pain • marriages • relationships • anxiety • depression

Hello, I’m Nicole Konkin, a counsellor who believes that healing and growth happen when we slow down, get curious about ourselves, and make space for what truly matters. My approach is grounded in compassion, connection, and a deep belief in each person’s ability to grow and better understand themselves.

I know firsthand what it feels like to go through seasons of disconnection, self-doubt, and searching for direction. Over time, I’ve learned to trust in small, consistent steps forward, and now I support others in reconnecting with their values, finding balance, and building lives that feel aligned and sustainable. These experiences inform how I show up in the counselling space: with empathy, curiosity, and a deep respect for your lived experience. I believe that many of the challenges we face—whether related to identity, self-worth, or burnout—are deeply connected to broader social and cultural pressures, rather than personal shortcomings.

I take a person-centered, collaborative approach to counselling and believe that you are the expert of your own life. I integrate tools from Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based strategies to help you explore what matters most, navigate challenges, and build on your strengths.

Outside of my work, I love spending time with my family and friends, exploring new places, being outdoors, and working toward my own self-care goals. I believe that success isn’t about doing more—it’s about feeling well, staying present, and creating a life you don’t need to escape from.

Areas of Specialty: burnout • stress management • career exploration • self-esteem • relationships • chronic pain • personal growth • values-based living • navigating societal roles • self-compassion • nervous system regulation • anxiety • work-life balance • self-discovery • feminist therapy • LGBTQ+ support
